Registration, Gear Checks and Briefings

Registration and gear checks for all events will be held on Saturday March 29th between 2:00pm and 6:00pm at the pavilion in Chingford Park (see map below). 

Have a look at the course info for each event so you know what essential gear you will require. If you don’t carry it for the race you won’t be able to participate.

Briefing for the 56km 3 Peaks Plus 1 will be at 6pm Saturday March 29th at Chingford Park. Briefing for the 26km will be 8:40am Sunday March 29th at Woodhaugh. Briefing for the 11km will be just before the race start at 10am.

Start Info

56k runners to assemble in the middle of Woodhaugh Gardens by 5:45am. At 5:55 we will then walk (quietly) to the start line on Woodhaugh St.

26k runners to assemble in the middle of Woodhaugh Gardens by 8:30am. Briefing will be held in Woodhaugh at 8:40am. We will then walk to the start line on Woodhaugh St.

A limited number of portaloos will be available at Woodhaugh Gardens.

Finish Line Fun

All finishers receive a medal for their event when they finish.

There will be food, coffee and a great community available at the finish.

Prize Giving

Prize givings for the 11km and 26km will be held at 2:30pm at Chingford Park (race finish – see map below).

Prize giving for the 56km will be held at 4:30pm at Chingford Park (race finish – see map below).

Category Prizes and spot prizes will be given out at the prize giving.

NOTE: If you’re still running when prize giving takes place, you’re still eligible for spot prizes.  If you aren’t still running you will need to be present at the prize giving to be eligible.

Prize Categories

56km and 26km – Male and Female prizes for 56km and 26km plus age categories as follows:

  • Youth – under 20
  • Senior – 20 to 34
  • Masters – 35 to 49
  • Veterans – 50 to 59
  • Gurus – 60 and over

11km – Overall male and female

Back in Motion King and Queen of the Mountain – This includes a cash prize for the first man and first woman to the Swampy Summit who then go on to finish The 3 Peaks 26km. Sponsored by Back in Motion.

Transport

Transport back to the start line (Woodhaugh) from the finish line (Chingford Park) can be arranged on the day. There is always a steady stream of cars heading that way with people happy to provide rides.
