As the 3 Peaks Mountain Race is entirely on public property training on the course is available all year. Please stick to the route described and avoid crossing private property without landowner permission.

Orientation Runs

26km Orientation Run 1 – dates to be confirmed – 9am at George St entrance to Woodhaugh
The first part of the 26km course up Flagstaff, Swampy, down Morrisons and then run back down Leith Valley Rd to start. Approximately 20km. We will also have race leaders at the back of the pack keeping everyone safe and ensuring that the slower runners do not get left behind. It is not a race, it is a leisurely run where we can enjoy the spectacular scenery and get to know the course and have fun at the same time

26km Orientation Run 2 – dates to be confirmed – 9am at George St entrance to Woodhaugh
Run up Leith Valley to join the second part of the 26km course (and last 2 legs of 55km). Up Leith Valley to turn off over bridge into City Forest section. Over Mt Cargill and down to race finish at Chingford Park. Then run down road back to the start. Approximately 22km. We will also have race leaders at the back of the pack keeping everyone safe and ensuring that the slower runners do not get left behind. It is not a race, it is a leisurely run where we can enjoy the spectacular scenery and get to know the course and have fun at the same time

You will need to be self-sufficient with water, food and warm gear for each of these runs.
