Registration, Gear Checks

Registration and gear checks for all events will be held on Saturday March 16th between 2:00pm and 6:00pm at the pavilion in Chingford Park (see map below). 

Have a look at the course info for each event so you know what essential gear you will require. If you don’t carry it for the race you won’t be able to participate.


6 pm Saturday March 16th – Briefing for the 56km 3 Peaks Plus 1 at Chingford Park.

8:40 am Sunday March 17th – Briefing for the 26km at Woodhaugh.

9:55 am Sunday March 17th – Briefing for the 11km just before the race start at 10am.

Start Times and Places (Sunday March 17th)

6 am – 3 Peaks Plus 56km starts on Woodhaugh St. Please gather at the duck pond (see map) by 5:45.

9 am – 3 Peaks 26km starts on Woodhaugh St. Please gather at the duck pond at 8:30.

9:15 am – Race the Summit 11km participants gather at Chingford Park.

9:30 am – Bus for 11k leaves for Leith Valley.

10:am – Race start for 11k in Leith Valley.

Finish Line Fun

All finishers receive a medal for their event when they finish.

There will be food, coffee and a great community available at the finish.

Prize Giving

Prize givings for the 11km and 26km will be held at 2:30pm at Chingford Park (race finish – see map below).

Prize giving for the 55km will be held at 4:30pm at Chingford Park (race finish – see map below).

Category Prizes and spot prizes will be given out at the prize giving.

NOTE: If you’re still running when prize giving takes place, you’re still eligible for spot prizes.  If you aren’t still running you will need to be present at the prize giving to be eligible.

Prize Categories

55km and 26km – Male and FeAll male prizes for 55km and 26km plus age categories as follows:

  • Youth – under 20
  • Senior – 20 to 34
  • Masters – 35 to 49
  • Veterans – 50 to 59
  • Gurus – 60 and over

11km – Overall male and female

Back in Motion King and Queen of the Mountain – This includes a cash prize for the first man and first woman to the Swampy Summit who then go on to finish The 3 Peaks 26km. Sponsored by Back in Motion.


Transport back to the start line (Woodhaugh) from the finish line (Chingford Park) can be arranged on the day. There is always a steady stream of cars heading that way with people happy to provide rides.
